Who is the client?

I am a 24-year-old girl living in Kopparberg. I was born with a severe cerebral palsy (CP) disability, which means I have a significant mobility impairment and use a wheelchair. For my life to function, I need help with everything life entails.

My interests include swimming, massage, and physical exercise, and I attend day activities once a week. I am a stubborn, fearless, and cheerful girl who likes to be active when my energy and body allow it. I appreciate glitter and glamour, as that is what puts the golden touch on my everyday life!

Who are you?

The tasks with me are very varied. As my personal assistant, you are with me everywhere; you are my right hand in everything I do. Some days are fast-paced, while others are calmer, depending on my daily condition and needs.

The duties include helping me with everything in my daily life. You support and interpret for me during all activities in and outside the home; your workplace is simply wherever I am. My assistance is provided with varying staffing levels, either single or double support. You must be able to work independently.

The job involves many healthcare-related tasks. You need to be prepared to work with me when I am in the hospital. Applicants must be non-smokers. You are flexible, positive, and have a good dose of common sense. Experience with suction equipment, BiPAP, cough assist machines, and tube feeding is a plus.

Medical experience is advantageous, and personal suitability is highly valued. A Category B driver's license is desirable and an advantage but not a requirement.

What kind of position is this?

The position is currently for my summer substitute, and the hours are flexible depending on how you can work. With me, there are day, evening, and night shifts (overnight standby) on both weekdays and weekends. You must be able to work all times of the day.
